Like I said a while ago in another thread, I'd expect GM to keep quiet about the Z/28 until after the ZL1 and 1LE get rolling down the assembly line.

Cause I just ordered one. Oh it has the "Z"07 package! Got a great deal at local dealer, good people.
Well ... since its still a Z with the Z07 package I guess it counts.

We are an inclusive tolerant group here in the HouZe. We accept Zs of all kinds, even when attached to cars that don't have a single A or M in the name

Now that I think about it ... this could set a dangerous precedent.

What if somebody with a Z71 off road package wants in? Z24 Cavalier? Nissan 350Z? Citroen ZX?

We have certainly acknowledged the venerable Z71. Z24 I think we would acknowledge in a sympathetic sorry for you man kind of way. Welcome to The House. Hav a beer. Sorry for your loss kind of way. 350Z? Not so much.

I'd say pretty good on a brand new model. It looks like employee pricing on a base 2LT GS is 10.5%. Z07 seems about the same.

Is be good with that deal if I didn't have access to employee pricing.

Will be at the anniversary celebration with #251 for 2014. Had a great 500 mile road trip today with my son.

Yeah, I get that. It just doesn't make any sense to not have a model that was actually available for the first year on the 50th anniversary

Short and sweet the best of all Camaro stories. I hope your son holds this memory dear as much as I bet you do.

Well, not a peep about a Z/28 at the event.

They did go the distance on the new ZL1. The front clip is a wide body, but not for tire clearance. They went wide to get more cooling area, more air flow to make certain the 10 speed doesn't over heat. The brake caliper is the same size as the 5th Gen Z/29 as is the rotor leading me to believe a CC rotor will be an option???

Guessing there will be no Z/28 news until after the BEAST is reviewed, launched and fully covered.
