I sure hope a normal key can be cut and work!!! I am always locking my keys in the car. I have had an extra key for my wallet for years. Only to unlock the door. Will not start car.

it would be great to have a key like ford's mykey feature that you could program the car not to go over 15mph and throttle no more then 30%. valet's would be stummped.

Yeah, no valet is driving my car, drop the girl off at the front, be right back as I go park the Camaro. I don't have to worry about surfing where I live, the old tires and beer bottles are what I have to surf on.

HOOOOOLY Shi*, I am still coughing for laughing so hard.
But, I do have one of those but it's not big enough for a key fob. And I get paranoid that someone will see me no matter how much I look around. |

This is an excellent question. By me, there are a bunch of restaurants that valet, even small ones. I could get around it, but sometimes it's unavoidable.
I understand the surfing thing. While I don't surf per se, I am a beach rat, also like to do other water activities, a regular cut key would be, well, "key" hehe. |

I wish the Camaro had a keypad on the door like many Fords do.....impossilbe to lock yourself out, and easy to lock stuff in your car while at the beach.....a solid design idea. I wonder if you can get an aftermarket keypad (Ford also offers these).

I've never seen boardshorts with a waterproof pouch. Most just have a loop in the pocket. Even if they had it, I wouldn't trust it, not with the way you can get tossed around on bigger days. I've seen people go so far as to cut a hole and install a little sealed box inside of their surfboard to store stuff like this. Me, I'd rather just put a plain ol key in my pocket like I've been doing for years.
