Shifter ????
So are these Hurst shifters growing in value now? I bought mine in 2014 for 300 dollars. I've seen them on Ebay, used, selling for 450. I've seen some being bought, used, for 400 to 450. I know they have been discontinued but had no idea that they may increase in value!

Im the one that has it for sale .if you are interested ..let me know ..willing to work something out ..when I originally got it over two years ago I paid about $400 for it... If I don't ever sell it ,which not really a big deal ..it will become a cool light up coat rack for the garage.. definitely a cool piece of 5th gen Camaro .

They're interesting and a nice touch for a 5th gen automatic interior, but I had a hard time swallowing $400 for one when Hurst was still making them and there's people out there paying $1,000 now? I thought the guy asking $850 or whatever it ended up being was crazy and then the guy a day later posted for $1,000. Personally I'm not a huge fan of the handle and while the shifter plate is cool looking, there's not mechanical advantage to installing it. For $1,000 you can get a set of long tube headers and a tune. Hurst has started making a new handle for our cars for something like $220 that I think I'll install one day, but for now I'll stick with what I have.

Sorry, I don't get the hype. I like the Hurst and Camaro logo on the front but the rest looks cheap and clunky to me. Is it that hard to know which gear you're in that you need to have the gear selections listed on BOTH sides? lol

its a automatic shifter so its in fact pretty useless just for looks, the real comparison would be their short throw manual shifter which BTW was a lot always ditched by owners and improved on with MGW shifters as owners stated..... Its a way to kind of do a small retro deal making a Hurst Camaro, then you can get the rear emblem showing Hurst....but to me its like MEH...……..
