I have to have a medical procedure on Thursday, so I may not get a chance to wash and wax it, but I will be there even if the car is dirty. I'm really excited to see you guys and to put the little goodies on my car.

Mines dirty too... So what. It may rain anyhow. Good luck on your "procedure".

By the way, I stopped by IPS today. They finished the exhaust cut outs... it's stupid loud with them open! You were right, j, it will induce fluids from neighboring ricers at red lights.

Should be on the dyno for final adjustments tomorrow and then I can bring it home. I told them I have to have it back in time to take it to a gathering of Camaro friends this weekend.
I think we can get your mods done. I've read various instructions and I don't see any problems. The critical thing is to disconnect your negative battery cable and wait for the module to discharge so the airbag doesn't go off.

Do you happen to know the drill bit size for your pedals so I can be sure we have that size?

If the steering wheel comes in time, then I was hoping to pull into the shop when I get there and unhook the battery. Then we can do the other mods first and the steering wheel last. I've read all the instructions and DIY videos and I don't think any of them are too difficult.

The instructions for the pedals list the following...

Tools required:

- Drill: 3/16" Drill Bit
- Phillips Head Screwdriver: 1/16" Drill Bit
- 9mm Wrench Center Punch

It doesn't look too hard.

Eh... Whatever. It is what it is. I'm not afraid of the rain. Just wet cars to work on... They'll clean if it ever gets nice.

I have invited a VERY SPECIAL GUEST... sorry, not Chase... Though he is special... This guest would take mod day to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL. I am not holding my breath as this person is VERY busy and may not have a chance to make it but I ask everyone say an extra prayer for them to show!!! If it came down to praying for sun or praying for this guest..., CHOOSE THE GUEST!!!

With any significant chance of rain, I won't be bringing my 76 Camaro out of the trailer. :(

This would leave one more open spot in the shop to maybe keep a new Camaro dry.

Is your wife coming? I don't have much of a count of who is bringing a significant other or guest.

There might be someone bringing either a Cobra Mustang or Sunbeam Tiger.

My husband will not be coming. I asked him if he wanted to come and he said "you guys will be working on cars and talking about cars, right?" Me: "yes." He said, "you go and have fun, I'll stay home."

I look forward to meeting your wife, j!
