I know this may seem stupid.....but
what does M6, or A6, or any of those type of letter/number combinations mean?

M6 is Manual 6 speed, A6 is auto 6 speed .

I had the same question a while ago.

M6- manual 6 speed
A6- automatic
LS3- manual v8
L99- automatic v8

Not sure on the six cylinder codes

Sometimes you guy/gals are a little rude here on this site. I'm a member of several other forums and none of them seem to be so rude. Guess it just be my age. I would think that members would have more respect.

Don't ever be afraid to ask questions regardless of how stupid you think they are because if you don't ask the question you won't know the answer. And for every 1 know-it-all there are 10 others here that are happy to help out .
