Narrative

Times change and so will racing. An All-Star group has been assembled by Robert Fisher and Circle Track magazine to build and track a 2010 Camaro using renewable fuels. It goes well beyond fuels and to the heart of what racing is all about -- cars on the track that are like the cars we drive on the street. If all goes well, they will put on track a car that captures the essence of NASCAR back in the Day with superior technology and superior performance that runs clean while using renewable fuels. Pedders will supply the suspension for Project G.R.E.E.N.

Key things I want to know: how big does it feel, and how communicative is the steering?

Update: after reading some of the reviews, the consensus seems to be that it doesn't feel quite as heavy as it is, but that the steering could be more communicative. The latter is a big deal to me, personally, but then very few current cars are satisfying in this respect.

Otherwise, the reviews have been glowing.

Keep the fronts inflated to spec and you won't have problems. Nothing worse than a set of low fronts. I always had a low front right tire on my F-150 due to a slow leak. After filling with air there was always a noticable difference. What's 'POWER, VARIABLE RATIO STEERING'?
I have an LT with RS and that's what I got for steering. See ya on the road!

You can clean up the steering feel with a good alignment. Have them bring the car to ZERO toe. That will help a great deal.

This is not the thread for vendors to sell parts, but swapping out the rubber OE radius bush snubbers / inserts and replacing them with a harder urethane insert makes a big difference in steering feel. The OE rubber hydraulically damped bush stays in place. It is just the snubber that is replaced. Simple to install and a far more direct feel in the steering. The alignment and snubbers can be done at your Chevy Dealer. The parts are GMPP licensed and of course they have an alignment machine. Add it to your new car negotiation.

Done deal IF you will throw in the GMPP EP6579 snubbers with an alignment
