Z/TA spoiler height vs SLP and MPD
Can anyone tell me how tall the Z/TA spoiler is compared to the SLP high lip and the MPD1? I like the style of the Z/TA but from pictures it doesn't look that much taller than stock. I want something noticeably taller than stock but not quite Z28 tall.
Also curious which is taller of the MPD1 and SLP high lip?

I have the Z/TA, it's quite a bit taller that stock.

I ordered an SLP last year but it was discontinued so I got the ZTA. Did they bring the SLP back? Could've just been for the vert though. +2 ZTA taller than stock.

In general, how much does it cost to have a spoiler painted? I am unsure I want to spend the $300 for a spoiler and whatever it costs to get painted.

I would ball park most 5th gen spoilers at $150-250. Depends on where you live and the color.

I'd have to look it up, but I think I paid $200 to have mine painted.

I got the Z28 replica sold at Amazon. Painted to match my car and shipped for $99.00. What a great spoiler and price. Came packaged very well and zero flaws. Not sure if they make it for 2011 but worth a look.
Good luck with your search. |

Here are some pictures of the ZTA on a customers car. Looks great once installed and painted. Not too high and not too low in my opinion. Bolts on, easy to paint, and goes together very easily.
Thank you, Ricardo |

THIS is the picture I needed to see! Most pics are at bad angles or focused on just the spoiler. Seeing it this way, it looks great.

The MPD1 is a much smoother (less cluttered up lines) and fits tighter to the rear fenders
