Wrong thread. I had another one open and I guess with it being late I posted in the wrong one.

I was reading the OP and just shaking my head like "how can people not know about the RS package" but then I saw the date and I was like "ooooh - I get it now"

I have a Black 2SS and it made no sense whatsoever to get the RS upgrade. I have yet to meet the person that can distinguish between the taillights unless the 2 are parked side by side, and tbh, I can get the same look for a couple dollars with vinyl. Roof moldings makes no difference on a black car. No one really likes the RS Rims...everyone upgrades to the polished anyways, so thats a waste. I spent the $1200 on White/Blue Oracle AAC Halos, PLasma Fogs, HOD headlamps, LED's under the hood, AND Afterburner tail light LED's. I have color coded dash mounted buttons that allow me to turn on ANY combination that I want. No "daytime running" limitations. When I roll with the AAC halos next to a Camaro with the factory Halos...no one is looking at the other car. End of story:P

All I cared about with the RS package was the HID's... it was enough incentive for me to choose RS... I could never have a camaro without the HID's, it adds so much personality to have "eye"-like headlights

I don't dislike the factory halos/HID's. In fact I do love the HID's but what happens after the warranty runs out? How much are those to fix or replace? My Oracle lights are guaranteed forever and instead of round looking Halos, they are evil looking demon eye Halos, and I can choose white or blue or both and the halos are on the fog's too. Drive what makes ya happy but it was a no brainer for me. I didn't want to have the same look as every other Camaro in the Chicago area. I havent seen any other demon eye halos and thats just how I like it

I purchased a 1SS with sun roof and auto for $34,500 new, out the door with 10 miles. (ordered it) That's $2,4500.00 off sticker. Installed my own 4 gauge instrument cluster and yes I have the silver SS insignia. 8K miles now and no prblems....great sports car.

I should have said $2450.00 off sticker. My mistake.
