I too had my master cylinder cap leak, and after three caps I fixed it my self for $2.59.

Basically what I did was cut out the bottom of a plastic milk jub, and make it the same size as the rubber gasket in the master cylinder top. Trim it down so it fits under the rubber gasket and allow for the three tabs. It has worked for over 7 months. Don't use the sides as they are too thin, but the bottom is just right. Laugh all you want, but my fix worked and even the dealer thought it was cool.
