Update this morning was that Memo had arm and leg surgery, but back surgery will be needed. No replays because of severity of the crash. I don't think they were sure if he was even alive for quite some time, or if he would survive.

I think common decency and respect was shown by the broadcast in not showing replays of such a horrific crash.

I was watching live when it happened and it was brutal. What made it worse was that it was so sudden and unexpected. You could tell that the commentators were concerned that there was one or more fatalities just by what they were and were not saying. Glad that they are both going to be ok. Says a lot about automotive engineering these days.
