I am kinda in the same boat with you. I have been waiting for my camaro for about 3 months ( I know others have waited longer - hooray for ya'll) but I am getting fed up. Screw it..I am going to exercise the opt out provision in my contract, wait a couple months until next spring and by an 06 Vette - preferably a z06... and SS goes for about 49-50 fully loaded in Canada.. z06 (06) apx. 55-60K. Seems to me like a no brainer?

O.K heres what I did. I was going to trade my 2006 Artic white 14000 mile 3LT Vette in for the 2010 Summit white SS/RS with CGM stripes but I couldn't part with the vette so I changed my order to the White 2LT/RS, Sunroof, Stripes, saved about 8 grand have a 300+ horsepower camaro and now I have 2 bad ass cars. The wife was a little Pissed off because I never told her but I'm sure she will get over it when my car arrives and she see's it.

Honestly man you can find dozens of 06 z06s with the same mileage for the same as you would pay for the 2ss. I personally would get the camaro but that vette is freakin sweet. Thats like trying to choose between 100k in cash and 100k in gold.

If you havn't had a vette, there isn't a better one to start with.. and a good price, too!
Vette hands down! I went Camaro because i needed a change. I had a LOT of vette's. If it wasn't for the 4 year old needing a seat in the hotrod to go to car shows, I would still be in the vette. |
