Looks like I'm in this club also. Seems like forever to get to this point. Thought about switching and buying something else but guess I'll hang in there now. Was hoping to get her before the cool weather, but guess that's out for now. I'm hoping now that they are installing the stripes at the factory it doesn't add too much of a delay.

I'm passing the time with a garage makeover, how about you guys and gals?

I did the garage makeover last month I even took pictures and sent them to my dealer so he would maybe get my order in faster. That's when I was at 1100 so maybe it worked or it was just timing

ABM LT2 RS, black interior and black stripes I can't wait to see her in person and to know she is all mine.. This month and half is going to drag I know it. Hey but we can all support each other lol..

Is it October yet? well if we all get them a month from not how cool will that be?

I am in the club as well! Looks like a delivery right around my birthday...couldn't have worked out any better lol

Hmmm. Just noticed there are more LT's than SS's for this week based on the thread so far (not very scientific). Wonder if that means anything? Wonder if they only produce certain models on certain days, or all models every day? Jeez, it would be fun if we knew how this process works while we're waiting, huh?

Welcome new friends. It will be fun counting down the weeks till we get our babies. I'm going to take a guess at my delivery date for kicks and say October 17,2009.

Sooner would be the best but I will take what I get.

The Viz says 9/28 TPW. I can't freakin' believe I'll get my Camaro in October! I think it will take several weeks to make it from the plant to the California coast to my little town dealer, but I sure can't complain. Heck, when I was getting ready to place my order in late August, every dealer I talked to said I wouldn't get the car until January. Turns out my local dealer had an open allocation that I got into the day after I placed the order. Of course, this is all thanks to the Camaro5 forum where I learned how the system works.

Damn glad to be in the club.

The way I understood from the posts on here from guys working the line, they build them as they roll down the line regardless of color, package or SS/LT. The order is sequenced, broadcasted ( maybe vise versa) and assembeled as it is picked in order I guess. I also noticed only a couple SS models this week, might be due to the constraint that supposidly due to start.....of course on the 21st of this month. I think TPW on SS might be getting scheduled further apart or pushed back a week or so. Glad I got in this month.

Cheers everyone! My salesman (my Dad haha) gave me an update on everything yesterday. Went to 3000 earlier in the week and got my TPW of 28Sept yesterday...I'm stationed in Mississippi and will be going on leave to drive to Jersey (my home) to pick up my camaro the first week of November, so I'm hoping it will be ready by then...Mid October would be even better though!

Funny, the gray and polished were 2 of my toughest decisions. My plan is to get silver stripes painted on, so I think the interior and wheels will go great them. I didn't get the vinyl stripes because I didn't trust the dealer to put them on. Of course, right after I ordered, GM changed to factory installation. The order to production happened so fast that I didn't manage to get the order changed to add stripes. I think painted will be overall better anyway - it certainly costs a lot more. The other way I was going to go is with black interior, midnight wheels, and black painted stripes. But, heck, I'm still freaked out that I have never seen ABM in person. Maybe they'll pair our ABMs for painting. We'll have to compare VINs.

Fortunately, the team is going to build our Camaros in the next couple of weeks and then we'll get to drive them. I think I'll stop sweating the details after a few weeks of my 60 mile daily commute.

Yes I was going to do that too with the gray int and silver stripes. I thought about having them painted on and yes I think overall that will look better and last longer. For me right now I am going with the vinyl then if I don't like It I will have it removed and painted down the road. So far in my home town I have seen an ABM yet. I hope Im the first. I swear can the end of this month come any sooner? I want to be able to put my number in to the Viz and see a vin number pop up. I am on this site so much that I know more before my dealer in some cases lol.. I ordered a camaro5 tee shirt and plan on wearing it the day I get my car.
