Thanks Mike it was good seeing you yesterday. After talking to you I think I am going to take the plunge and buy the color shift halos from Gen5diy. I got a surprise bonus at work last week and there should be enough left over to get them. Also it looks like I will be able to make it to Olcott this year so if you need that ride I will be happy to pick you up.

Are any of you guys headed to Norwalk for the LSX Shootout August 21-24th?

I'm going to run in true street, and probably 1 other class.

Looking for a little help. I bought a color shift halo kit from Gen5diy but I don't have any instructions on how to install it. In this kit you just change the factory led to an rgb one. Has anyone installed this kit or a similar one? Do I mount the controller inside the car or somewhere in the engine bay? I sent an email to see if they have any instructions as I could not locate any on their site but have not heard back yet. I have found some direction by searching in the how to section here but nothing complete. I would like like to get these installed before the Olcott show on the 30th but I am worried that I may start this and without directions mess something up and not have the car ready for the show.

I think that's the one Mike installed before that DARK day he sold her. Maybe PM him and if you need any help to install them, let me know...I did the Oracle lights, but it's a completely different install. I still have that plaque from Alden for you too!

If Ofer doesn't answer emails give him a call. The controller mounts inside under the center console behind the shifter, or anywhere else you can find to hide it. You will need a 1/4" swivel and I think a T-15 torx. Also there is 1 screw for the led mount that is a major PITA to get at. I had to cut a torx driver handle off to use it to get to that tough screw. I might still have it, if I can find it you can have it!

Thanks Mike I will need to get the 1/4" swivel. Let me know if you find the torx if not I am sure I can pick one up cheap if I need to cut off the handle. So it sounds like you did not bake the lights correct. I may try this on Sunday as long as I feel better. Feeling a little sick today. I have a ballgame in Cleveland Sat night so maybe I can start Sat morning and get the front end off then work on taking the lights out on Sunday and if all goes well put it back together.
