Very interesting, you have a 10 and its listed under your Vin.

So in an update to my P0449 issue i have contacted GM directly. They stated YES it is covered for 8 years/80k miles. And my warranty is good until april/2018 or 80,009 miles. They have given a voucher for my diagnostic crap theyll do at a dealer. They are personally contacting the dealership to resolve the issue of WHY it isnt being covered under the emmissions warranty. So far GM directly has been a great help. Should be resolved in a day or so.
I was also dealing with the dealer trying to get this issue resolved. It truly disappointed me they way they handle my case. I was finding my self going back and forth from dealer to GM. Almost arguing with them because every person i spoke to didn't help and when they did they would not make the effort to resolve the issue. The dealer was far the most worst people i had to deal with. They treated me like crap and the worst customer service from their part. When it came to other stuff they sure did help but in my case all they did was put me on the waiting room only to be told "sorry but we cant help at the moment." I wasted time from work and my spear time to just deal with work arounds. Its like the people i dealt with had a big miscommunication. So at the end of the day i took this under my own hands in one day. When i had wasted three months on waiting on my dealer and GM. Not saying this can happen to everyone but its just my experience with the issue.

UPDATE: The light has not came back on. Its been almost a whole month and everything is working fine with the car

Hello. I have the same problem with my 2010 Camaro. I contacted a couple of dealers and GM as well, but no one has any information on an extended warranty or even a TSB for this issue. By any chance, do you have any document numbers or a TSB or anything that I can provide to help a dealer or GM to find the warranty information on this?

Thanks!

This is my problem as well. But I don't know if it's the purge valve under the hood or the vent solenoid behind the passenger rare wheel! I don't want to buy the wrong part and I don't want to pay a mechanic for something I can do myself either.
