Any numbers from this "intake shootout", still curious to see how this performs.

TX2K as usual took "front of the line privilege" at every shop and engine dyno in Houston. Not a major problem, it just gave us time to collect more manifolds on the market for testing anyway. We plan to have results from a third party source some time this month.

im definitely interested in those additional dyno testing results

im curious to see if this intake can make power to (and even passed) 7000 without losing major torque at low rpms

Don't know why these companies don't have their results ready to go when they release the product. Moved on the ported super Vic instead

We did have results. Customers demand "third party results" we have tested at S.A.M tech in Houston. We stand but our product and will provide as many results as possible till enough shops or customers provide their own. Wish you the best of luck with your super victor.

How did the super vic do? My tuner advised against using one... said the elbow is a bottle neck... interested to see how one compares to the stock piece...

lets not derail the thread fellas. otherwise this will turn into a "what did your intake do" thread

thid lod speedworks is the new cat on the block and i think a lot of us are waiting on more data. even the members at ls1tech are asking for the LS3 communities (us and the corvette guys) to share any data as it comes. a lot of people are watching for feedback

Would you post your result graphs here (Stock LS3 vs LS3 with only adding your intake)? I'm looking at Facebook and your site and can't seem to find them.

Intake manifold

I’ve been seeing talk of this intake here and there. I have the fast lsxr 102 intake on right now. Would it be worth it to upgrade? Getting upgraded cam and ported heads this summer. Also, would this intake fit under the stock 1le strut tower brace and anyone running/know if the vararam intake would fit?

Yes, it fits under the strut brace. My z28 cai fit the stock intake as well as the LOD. It is a bit higher...as long as you have a little flexibility it should work...

Wow that looks really good in the engine bay! I’ll have to check if I have enough play with the vararam intake. Still wondering if it’s worth changing out the fast lsxr intake for this one.
