How would you use a PC to fix this?

It's not Camaro related but you guys have a bunch of knowledge so I wanted to throw this out to you.

It's a 1998 Black BMW and the paint was in this condition when I bought the car. In the near future I am going to invest in a PC and would like your ideas on how to fix this. All the horizontal surfaces of the car have the same damage.

Any tips for a noob and a new PC?

PCs don't work on BMWs.

I think Junkman and his videos have pretty much outlined the process for you. You'll definitely want to invest in Adam's Polishes products and use those in conjunction with the PC. You'll need:

-Swirl and Haze Remover
-Fine Machine Polish
-Wax of your choice (Super Machine Wax - soon to be called Super Machine Sealant)
-PC Pads (Orange, White, and black) get black if you are going to be getting Super Machine Wax

Of course, you'll also need some Detail Spray to prime the pads. It wouldn't be a bad idea to invest in some quality microfiber towels as well.

You aren't to far from me that I can't drive over there and put one of these down on you.

Besides, my '67 Camaro could benefit from a little PC work if that makes you happy.

The vids I posted are from Junkman. Those will walk you right through it. It's pretty easy. And kinda fun.

Easy to use and you'll have fun doing it and seeing the results.

But WATCH THE VIDS.

Gonna take about 45 minutes or so, but you HAVE to watch them. You'll be glad you did.

They sell those accessories along with the PC. Don't mix and match stuff together because you'll screw yourself with the price. Go with this kit, and add a gallon of Detail Spray to it. Oh, and use the coupon code in my sig. Saves you even more.

One thing that you haven't talked about is how you're going to avoid creating that damage in your paint again, after you fix it. Do you know?

This is the voice of experience. Listen to him. One thing, it's going to take a lot longer than 45 minutes to watch them because you need to watch them about 3 times each.

I watched them about three times, but over the course of two years.

I'm getting pretty good at it. I just suck at the smaller areas where the pads are too big to get.

Guys keep in mind that this isn't a Camaro it is a BMW and has a hard as rock clearcoat. Yes follow Junks videos but you may need something more agressive to get those out as that is pretty gnarly.

You might need to go in with M105 and M205 first to get those swirls out. I just do not see Adams getting that fixed by itself.

I was wondering about that. That's why I posted the make. And yes they are really gnarly swirls.

How about it Junkman, something a little more aggressive or will the Adams stuff be enough?

In answer to your question about how to prevent it in the future. I am selling the car this summer. Just wanted to make it look pretty for a prospective buyer.

I'm 99% sure Junkman will say it doesn't matter. I believe we've been down this road.
