I really hate bikers riding like a..holes.
A couple a weeks ago this guy hit my driver side view mirror, they are always between lanes trying to squeeze in, they don't give a shit about damaging others people vehicles.
I chased him down until next stop light & got his license plate number, my first thought was to ram his ass off the road I was pissed. That's one the many reasons I installed my dashcam, today I caught another guy, traffic slows down but he keeps going like if his f... ing house is on fire.

Yeah, it's either lose a mirror to a bike-a-roid or lose one to a snow plow

Those guys aren't 'BIKERS', just a-holes on street bikes. Real bikers have respect for theirs and others life and property.

I just hate when I'm in the front of a red light and a bike cuts right in front of me, then drives slowly. Lane splitting sucks

I also am not a fan of lane splitting, especially when that same biker expects to be given room around him as if he is a car. You can't have it both ways, and I am sure it is just a few that play the jerk part. And guys, I am sure OP was kidding about ramming the biker. Maybe he should just throw a catch can at him!

There just seems to be a few "hate on biker" posts today... and they are hitting a nerve.

I'm just digging the Avenged Sevenfold! I'm a biker, but I disagree with lane-splitting. You can't expect cars to honor the rule of "Give me the space you would give a car." if you encroach on a smaller space. Not worth it. Dangerous enough.

Yea, he's not lane splitting to be safe, he's lane splitting like an a-hole. Coming from a biker I think lane splitting shouldn't be legal over 10mph and at least 3 lanes of traffic. If you're going faster than 10mph, there's no reason to lane split because traffic isn't congested enough.

The purpose of allowing motorcycles to "split" lanes is to allow them to get out of motor vehicle congestion and provides for more safety for the motorcyclist. In CA where everyone drives like a@@#holes it actually decreased traffic accidents for motorcycles significantly and saved a lot of lives getting them out of the kill zones in bumper to bumper traffic.
That being said, yes there are some idiots that think this is the opportunity to ride like a jerk and race thru heavy traffic. I have been riding for over 40 years and I have seen both sides. I have had to use it to get out of a situation and I even had a woman open her car door to prevent me from going through. That's why I scan everything I can see constantly and don't ride any faster than my angel can fly.....Just my .02
