yea tell me about it. Frustrating, however I can get the wheels repaired for under $200 a piece. Guaranteed I won't be able to see the difference. From what I can see it didn't damage the metal at all, just scraped paint. Fixable for sure.

1. Dealer is robbing you. They are more like $675 a wheel. I had to replace one.
2. Yes the front and rear are different.

I'm not paying that for wheels...it was simply an estimate to give to the carwash for reimbursement.

So you're paying $200.00 to have the wheels repaired and you won't be able to tell the difference, yet you're having the car wash pay full blown retail of $2,000. So you're pocketing $1800.00?

I just want to see if I have the math correct. I apologize if I have the story wrong.

Correct. They're writing a check for just over $2k. Repairs should be roughly $300. So I'll be pocketing the rest. For now I'm going to keep it Factory. I actually really like the factory wheels on the Z's

Big companies like that have insurance policies for this exact thing. Beyond that. I may very well buy new oem's. Fact is their wash wrecked my wheels and it wasn't my doing. I'll be sleeping great tonight.

The beauty of a forum like this shows the track record of every car written about here. Adds to the credibility of the car and the owner.

So you're saying because I'm considering repairing the factory wheels and pocketing money or putting it into the car somewhere else, I don't take as good of care of my car or have less credibility than yourself or someone else?

No. What I am saying is I own a Company. We have insurance to make people whole in the case of an accident. Not to turn a profit based on deceit and their own negligence.

You asked everyone here for a higher bid to "Pocket" more money.

This is a reflection of character. Any potential buyer of Z28 #371 ('15) from the current owner might want to ask themselves what deceit is hidden with in the car prior to purchase.

Your words not mine:

Thanks for the help boys
