the curse wasn't supposed to be on her...Pandora kept the box that held curses...i.e. was supposed to transfer to others that messed with her and took the box. She (my car) was supposed to be beautiful until challenged, then scary...not destroyed.

It would not have been much help in your case, but on the drivers test they used to ask the proper way park a car on a hill. After parking turn the wheels to the right, so if the e-brake fails, the car will role into the curb.

Mmmm...I don't think there was a curb there to stop it. Having wheels turned would probably have created a more disastrous trajectory for the rolling car!
