I am glad this thread woke back up. I am currently looking to upgrade to 6 piston calipers up front and need to start getting some part numbers and pricing. Saved a lot of searching!!

is that the Vette black caliper?? That is EXACTLY what I am looking for, that is nice. May I inquire to where you purchased that? Rock Auto? Amazon? Summit?

As far as the backing plate, is there a straight swap out or is everyone modifying the SS one?

Yes, its a 2017 Z06 Caliper.

I purchased one caliper at Summit and the other on Amazon, specifically looking for parts in stock, in an effort to get everything quickly.

On my 1LE, I believe the backing plate is not an issue. It looks like it will clear.

Thanks. Can't wait to see it on your car. I am still hunting down what I need (and like you.. IN STOCK), along with prices.

I posted a set of Brembo pads from the corvette forum like new 150. You might get lucky and find a set of calipers there too.

I know that is thread is a year old since the last post, but I am just curious if the rear ZO6 calipers is interchangeable with the ZL1 rear?

I am trying to figure out the same thing. I don’t want to have front calipers that say corvette and rear ones that don’t match. From what I am seeing it looks like
the Z06 rear brakes will work..looks like. Can’t say 100% someone needs to try it.

ZL1 and SS and CTS-V are the same 4 piston caliper and its not out of the realm of possibility that the Vette aren't the same 4 piston caliper. They will all have different PNs due to colors and scripts.

I could be wrong, but aren't the z06 rear calipers bigger? yes they are 4 pistons but I'm pretty sure they are physically bigger in size.
