I didn't mean to come off like the idea was bad or anything, FWIW. I was making a comment more on how the topic was opened with the wish that GM would offer that cam in the LS3 in the Camaro. Again, not shooting down ideas, because come on, I want power too. I just wanted to be clear
I have no state inspection either. . . although I live in NC that has one. lol.

but yes that would be a good mod for some. I personally will do exhaust first and then cam. to see how much more power I'm getting after the swap.

Well, than consider yoursleves lucky.

You're a few gray hairs and ~$20 a year better off than the rest of us.

well, they're talking about requiring us to pass a sniffer inspection sometime in the future... and they already require us to pass the OBDII scan... but even my '96 Silverado with no cats and no AIR pump passes the sniffer in Texas... and for those of us who have land in BFE places, its a simple matter of registering the car in a county that doesn't require emissions testing... and I'm pretty good at that trick... lol

Question for Fbodfather...can you say whether we are in for any MAJOR surprises at the SEMA shaw regarding performance accessories for the SS? Thank you!
