First paint chip.
Well I may be the first one on here to have a paint chip on their car. Its about 1/8" in size. Strange thing is that it is on the hood about 3-4" below the hood vent.
That rock or whatever must have took quite the journey to get there. Hope this isn't a sign of paint quality issue with the Gen6.

not even close to the first one to get a paint chip. Ask anyone who has white and driven the highway. My front end has about 20 marks on it that need fixed. I really need xpel to release their paint protection cutout with the front splitter.

My very first paint chip came from my own dealership as well as paint scratches and a dent from them installing the bowties. Don't feel too bad about the paint chip. It happens driving, you really don't have any control over it. Now if your dealership does it... A whole other ball game. Grab a touch up pen from the parts dept. I'd order it asap, as it'll prolly take forever to arrive. |

I'm just afraid moisture will get in there and make the paint chip more. There is like a lip around the spot

White cars have nothing to do with it. My 5th gen is 6 1/2 years old and only has 2 very
tiny chips on the hood- Thats it !. Thats after 40,000+ miles and several long road trips.

Off topic! But I have a ss hyper blue metallic as well! Does your front bumper look darker than the body of your car? Mine is very noticeable and I was wondering if anybody else was having this issue. Picture to follow.
