Resonators to quite down exhaust a little

I have high flow cats with an x pipe to flowmaster outlaws, just ordered Texas speed 2 inch headers, car is already loud enough with me being in cali and all, just wondering if there are any good resonators to put on to keep the volume down, have a GPI SS1 cam also, made the exhaust quite a bit louder alone, thanks.

I have the SS1 cam and TSP longtubes with their 3" exhaust and put on some vibrant resonators and all I noticed was it cut down a little bit of the rasbynest. Didn't really do a very good job at all. I think if you want to cut down volume your going to have and go with something like the Borla Touring mufflers.

The Magnaflow resonated x-pipe will help you out. I had one on my FM Outlaws for a bit, cut it down about 30% and gave it a lower tone. As mentioned above, I also tried the resonators and didn't work. This...

Thanks, yea I was looking at that magnaflow one, but wasn't sure if it would help, I'm adding headers for the flow and extra hp, don't really want the extra sound ya know, because right now it's actually pretty loud even at idle without headers.

The resonated x pipe took mine down to much. Put a Flowmaster Super10 muffler where the X pipe is. Sounded pretty good.

I agree with a Borla Touring axle back. It quiets things down, adds a deep tone and eliminates drone. Good luck. c

Yea borla makes good stuff for sure, I recently added J pipes to my exhaust, so I have 0 drone right now, I have FM outlaws, which sound perfect now, I'm leaning towards the MF resonated x pipe.
