Did they mention what the target hp might be? Makes sense to switch gears this far in, if they hustle they could be first to market for the mustang.

And this is why their excuses for not enough market for FI on the v6 is such a load of crap. It was more than bolting on something and doing a "simple" tune and they didn't want to deal with it after they teased everybody.

Im anxious to see if the boosted m6 v6 hold up. Just chirping tires on shifts stock is breaking them in some cases. I wouldnt be surprised if LPE v6 m6 took a dump on them. :( mustangs got the beef on the other hand.

Agree the trannys aren't the best, but they should handle the HP/TQ he's talking about. Going much beyond that and we'll need to build them, A6 and M6 alike. The advantage the M6 has over the A6 is the differential on theirs is similar too or the same as the one in the M6 SS. It looks like they will handle 600+ HP no problem. On the A6, not so much...

No DI but it is 11:1 so they have their work cut out for them.

The A6 is rated at 400 hp to the wheels, I been using the turbo for about 6 months now with no problems what so ever, it even chirps 2nd gear in S mode. I'm making around 426hp 450TQ.

I assume that is to the crank. If not, tell us how you got enough fuel for those numbers.

Well I am glad I have read all these v6 threads. So far no one sells the software to tune the DI motor. It comes with a toyota m6 trani that doesnt like a 1-2 shift. It sucks oil.

I may just spend the extra money for a v8 car in Jan

Kicks LPE in their 4th point of contact...

Oh and thanks for the link to the wife thread... still looking thru that one

You cant buy the software no, but you can get a basic tune. It doesn't suck oil; this engine is 11.3:1 compression ratio!
