Question What is the maximum power capability of 630cc/min fuel injectors?

The complete Turbonetics kit includes 630cc/min fuel injectors (I believe this converts to 60 Ibs/hr), which I used in my build. However, I am about to get my car retuned for more power. What power level is maximum for that size injector.

Now, I in no way want to max these injectors out, so I'm looking at purchasing more capable injectors. This will a least give me room for future power upgrades, but larger injector capability also gives me piece of mind that I'm not using them at maximum duty cycle. Can you recommend what size injectors I should look into for 600+ rwhp applications, and which manufacturer of the injector to buy. I remember reading that Ted Jannety recommended Injector Dynamics ID-850. Anyone have experience with those or any other similar injector?

Thank you!

Fuel injector connection check them out. They also have a formula chart on their website that will tell you what injector you need for the hp your running just punch in the numbers.

Ouch, I just checked out the Injector Dynamics 80 lb/hr injectors, and unfortunately they are just too expensive for me. They are over $900.

Any other injectors around the 80lb/hr capability that are still good quality and reliable, but a bit more cost friendly?

These are Ford injectors that are too tall and do not have the correct orings.

You call them and tell them what your going to use them for and they send the correct injectors for what ever motor your running. I believe thats just a generic page.

Ted, how will the ID2000s do in an LSX 427 at about 800 RWHP drive ability wise for about a year until i upgrade to an F1X and about 1000 RWHP. I dont think the ID1000s will be enough for my final goal. Just want to make sure there wont be issues with the humongous ID2000s on 800RWHP and dont want to have to buy new injectors with the big blower

i spoke with ted awhile back and the id850 is 1226hp at crank at 80% duty cyle, so depending on dt loss. do the math..i would figure 20% a good start

I learned a lot from my Buick with injector swaps. Different brands/styles of injectors will act different...even if same rating. Always ask our tuner the 'which injector' question. Even though the IDs are high as hell (I agree), if your tuner prefers them, go with it.
