The low mileage I have been reading about are from reviews on tirerack.com. The reviews are not vehicle specific but the tread pattern is the same for all types. Not sure if this will work, but you can try this link to the reviews:

http://www.tirerack.com/survey/Surve...re%3D74YR0P0XL

tjd24- that's actually not a bad price for tire/wheel sets. Do you have pics of those wheels?

just curious, but is there an all season/performance type tire that could flat our replace the perilli's (instead of buying a whole new rim/tire package)? on the 20" rs/ss rims that is. I live in michigan so I'm going to have to do something in regards to winter tires.

Who ever wants an all season may want to check out the Continental Extreme Contact DSW. 50k mile tire and were the top choice of all season performance tire at Car and driver. Testing was done with Tire Rack as the provider of the tires.

those continental tires look pretty good from the reviews, but they dont have a size yet to match the front of the 20" rs rims

Nope but pretty close. They have a 245/40/20. These are the tires I am going to go with next go around. Unless I can get my hands on a set of rear rims. Then it will be the 275's all way around.

6400 miles and my rears are about toast on a SS. I am going to get Nitto Invo's. They get great reviews by the Vette and Viper guys and are half the cost of the P-Zero's.

They also look sick!!

A guy with a RS V6 got them and said they are ok, do not corner as well as the P-Zero' and he can spin the tires alot with the V6. Does not seem like it would be to good for a SS.

I had 2 sets of INVO's on my Viper (stock wheels and 20/20 d2 wheels) and they are a great alternative to the P-Zero, considering the price.

Traction was GREAT in the extreme cold. I live in NY so cold temperature traction was key to survival when driving a VIPER.

They also rode pretty well, and broke evenly (I mean breaking the rear end loose).

For our Z06 and Camaro setups we pretty much use Pirelli and INVO.

Hope this helps somewhat. Good luck with the choice.
