2010, Definitely needs black stripes..

Not sure if they should be flat or shiny. That's your call.

I ditched the vinyl stripes in favor of painted stripes to make it easier when I wax the car. You can't wax the vinyl stripes, or flat black painted stripes if you go that way.

That's why my new stripes will be shiny. I want to wax the car easily.

mws, there is no doubt these lifts come in handy. Crawling around on the ground isn't as easy as it use to be back in the younger years.

Don't forget to post some pics of your new shoes.

Hey guys on another note, what have you all done about security?
Don't say Onstar either, they do nothing without a police report, could take hours.
El Paso is like the car theft capitol, buddy had his truck stolen last week and by the time Onstar got the report GPS was dissabled. Not like it would matter here in El Paso they are only about ten minutes from Mexico.
Take a look at this system by escort: http://www.escortradar.com/entourage/

At least with this one myself and Kimber can track it down, and the Cops will get to work on it within minutes. I know LPE uses their radar detectors, I wonder why they dont offer it at their shop?

I figure that and a kill switch should make for a bad day to pick on a Camaro.

Looks like a good system.... I like the kill switch idea. Ordered the factory service manual yesterday (finally available) - full wiring diagrams will come in handy.

570, I bet you can't wait to get the Red Devil back all finished. Heck, I can hardly wait to see it myself. It's gonna look great!

We went to our track today to check everything out as far as what we need to race, the layout of parking, etc. RS had been there before, but many years ago, and a lot has changed. The DA was close to 6000 today. Our favorite cars were a '67 Blue camaro and his friend's '68 Yellow Camaro. They did race eachother heads up one time, and the Yellow posted a 10.18, the Blue a 10.69. That was a fun race to watch. Later the Blue raced a very fast new Mustang and beat it quite handily! We went and bought helmets after so hopefully we can run next week! Here are pictures, I got one more shot of my wheels outside too. Name: IMG_0384.jpg

Cool! Nice to see some kids there at the track as well! I am one of the old guys here at the El Paso track, it is only a couple of years old but has a lot of participation with the young ones. Wed. nights might see 50 or 60 cars running. Only problem is it is overrun with mustangs, I talked a couple of 5th gen Camaros into joining me tonite so we'll see how it goes.
I cant wait to hear about you guys next weekend, you're going to love it!

How much drop did your springs get you? I like the stance!
Those wheels do "POP", you gotta go with Black Stripes........then Bam!

570 it looks like you have a top notch body shop getting your car dialed in. I can't wait to see how the finish product turns out I think it will be a work of art!

2010 those wheels really set your ride off perfectly! I think your going to be suprised how well those tires hook up.

RS that lift is really cool I got to get one. It's relly hard to even get a jack under mine with the ground effects. I have to use a small jack to lift the car a little just to get the big jack under it to actually lift it up on the jack stands. It's kind of a pain in the ... to do.

The new CCW 505's with the Nittos are about two weeks behind, ran out of metal for the 11.5" rears.
MWS you will have to post up some pics when you get your wheels installed. I am also curious how the MT DR's hook up need some feedback!
