Crazy lucky!!!!
They were going pretty fast for those conditions. I live in MN and use to driving on icy roads. I'm one of the faster ones on the road and I'm not as fast as these guys in the video.

Commits weekly crime
|
Quote:
My brother & I were coming back north from Mammoth Mountain to Seattle on I5 during one of the Pacific Northwest's worst snowstorms I've seen. I think it was 1989, but I don't remember for sure. He was driving my Toyota Corolla which was actually a pretty solid car for that time. We hit a patch of ice on a bridge, and he lost the rear end. Fortunately, it was at about 2am, and there were very few cars even out at that time...and no-one near us. We did a 540, and ended up facing backwards. He turned the car around, got off at the next exit and told me that I'm driving the rest of the way .

Guess sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. And sometimes, you need to be both.
