We lost 3 off the D line but the back 7 will be very good. I just hope both teams bring their best and it's not decided by some fluky crap either way.
#6 in the Big10 maybe. What offensive powerhouses did Michigan play last season? Western Michigan was the highest scoring team Michigan played last season at #18 (avg 35pts/game). Michigan State was the second highest scoring team Michigan played last season at #39 (avg 30pts/game). I'm sure the defense looked good against mediocre offenses.

OU has done well with OOC scheduling the last few years. We've had the home and home with Miami, the home and home with Florida State and now Notre Dame. Of course the other two OOC games tend to be patsies but such is the case for college football these days.

OU is something like 1-8 all time against the Dommers. That kind of worries me!

Michigan's OPPGA = 27.11
OU's OPPGA= 32.39

Less than a touch down per game. Not that big of a difference.

3 tipped balls for interceptions and fumble by a receiver not a good start. Good thing about Jarvon Bell and his 215 yards rushing and 55 yards receiving.

A good week to have Bell on their college fantasy team.

Until you realize that if Michigan's opponents were scoring 5 more points per game on average (including against Michigan), they would have gone 9-4 instead of 11-2. Michigan's strength of schedule was 40th in the nation. They didn't face a single top 10 team all season. Now they start the season against an Alabama defense that finished #1 and an offense that finished #16.

Luckily, anything can happen in college football which is why we all love it. Remember when Appalachian State came strolling into the big house to open the season in 2007?

I think we will see more wins than that but I agree tonight is not going to be pretty!
