I think there may be one or two things under your hood that void your warranty, even if you remove the catch-can ;-)

Yup, it really got me down. Just wish we wouldn't have publicized it here. That was the wrong way to handle it, but hindsight is always 20/20.

Myself, I'd keep mine and get a new ZL1 -- 10 speed auto is insane, but I would hesitate just on the way GM has handled this catch can issue. I'm leary about GM now, even knowing about 'any mod' could end the warranty -- but a catch can? humm...

Anyway, the pole dancing monkey may need to make a statement ;o)

The market is what it is. Someone will get a perfect car and if I don't sell it's still no big deal. I only want to mod one car at a time and I'm quite sure 23 would be sitting most of the time.

LOL, personally I could care less about warranty. I cringe just taking my truck to the dealer.

Yep, an awesome car sitting is no fun. Still, its like my bikes, I fire them up once or twice a week, even if I don't ride them.

I'm like you about the warranty, but I can do something about it -- a lot of folks are not as lucky as we are -- we can do most of the work ourselves. To me, if the engine or trans goes, its upgrade time!

You're right, shame it became so publicized, but lets face it, GM knows these are a problem. Next gen upgrades, folks will need to be even more aware. This can not be helping the 6th Gen sales. I'd wait for the 50th anniversary anyway and be looking out for the ZL1 and see what its 'real' numbers are stock -- bet they're higher!

Anytime between now and whenever.

I can't bring myself to put an ad on Autotrader just yet. LOL

Thinking around 40k right now, but don't quote me on that.

That price should move it. Classic originally listed my car at $48.9k, then lowered it to $43.9k now it's $41.9k which is basically what I got for it when you take into consideration the tax credit. Probably would have sold by now if they would have just taken the splitter off..
