Pat, I noticed in one of your pictures on the backside of the intake tube you had it wrapped. Notice any reduction in IAT due to the heat wrap?

Good spot! I had some gold DEI heat foil left over from a previous project, I did the side of the tube and all the airbox walls closest to the engine / exhaust. I haven't logged any temperatures and I can't say I've noticed a difference but it certainly can't hurt

Just got back from first trackday of the year at Rockingham. Amazing day, car performed flawlessly and was so so much fun!

Did 100 litres of Shell V Power @ 9.4MPG today (including the drive to and from the track)!!

I'll post a proper report tomorrow once I've had some sleep and my brain is less fried!

I've been patiently waiting for those dive planes to be installed and shown... I really dig that look. Great job!

Spoon have a great reputation for chassis mods on mostly Honda models, so I was quite surprised to see they made a Rigid Collar kit for our Gen 5 Camaros. The rigid collar is a clever little shim that re-aligns the front subframe to the perfect nominal position within the chassis.

See www.rigidcollar.com for more information. If I manage to get any I'll be sure to post feedback of my findings.
Pat, ordered a set for myself after seeing this post. Talked to the folks at Go Tuning Unlimited in CA. They’re hooking me up. Should pose some fun getting these in ;o)

Thanks for the heads up!

No problem. Mine arrived direct from Japan last week! They look well made. Instructions are all in Japanese but the pictures are pretty self explanatory.

I don't want to keep doing wheel alignments so I'm going to hold off fitting them until I've sorted Camber plates and the remaining Pfadt arms to do at the same time. If you get yours on before me please be sure to let me know how it goes!!

cheers,
Patrick

Hoping to have these in before my next track date (5/26)

FYI, I did ask for English instructions version

Nice! Are the dive planes helping? My understanding is they help high wings but not so much on the spoilers/wicker bills...

Thanks!

Also, got my GoPro visor clip! Can’t wait to try it out...

It really does. It's a work of art, for sure!

Also curious on the dive planes. I wasn't 100% sold on just word of mouth in regard to them only working with a wing, but any input you have on it would be awesome.

That thing looks so good with the graphics!

Are you running the 325 trofeos on all 4 corners?

What? A sunny day — no Rain in sight? Wow — oh I see the dry cars now ;o)

Does look awesome at sunset for sure!

Still waiting on the ridge collars...
