That is the foward sensing system for the cruise control I believe.

The exterior is pretty sweet, but im not feeling the interior, the dash looks like an older model pickup dash.

But over all i really like it.

i believe that is for addaptive cruise control. It senses how far the car is infront of you, and if it is decellerating. If you look at pics of the new durango, it has that same sensor, but located in a far more practical location (centered in the lower grill).
