Primary reason you bought or are buying a 2010 camaro
What are some reasons you got or will be getting a 2010 camaro? examples could be for the power the look the feel the fuel economy or because you simply crave the attention of friends or think it will make you popular and you want to get noticed by people you dont even know.

I got it because its everything I'm looking for in a car. Looks, power, comfort, and oh because I love GM muscle cars forever. I mean just look at it and after getting that feeling you will know why people are buying them.

I got it cause I had $40,000 burning a hole in my pocket! All kidding aside, plain and simple I love the car. I was upset when they did away with it in 2002. And the attention I get while driving it doesn't bother me any, just don't touch my car.

I grew up in the muscle car era all my guy friends had all types, makes and models. The ones that I seemed to like the most were Chevy's and my fav was the Camaro. 1975 and up were my high school days. Over the years I have owned a 74, 72, 79-Z28, 99 ... For what every reason I did not keep them due to many situations. I have always been a fan of this car and when they stopped making them I was crushed. I swore that if and when they ever produced them again I would buy one and here I am.. I hope to get my car at the end of September and on a personal note if it happens to be on September 25th.. That was the birthdate of my very best friend of 37 years who died two years ago September 11,2007 of Breast cancer..
I love camaro's! |

love. my. car.

Although, I won't be in the market for the car until next year, I want it because I couldn't see myself driving anything less. Seriously, people may think that I bought it to show off, but really I like cars, not just Camaros, and I can't just settle for a blah boring car.
The specs are great for the price. The Camaro is the right car at the right time for me.

Cause it was my first new car I bought of of college in 1982 - couldn't afford it then. I've had 1 other cool vehicle I could call mine - GMC Denali. Other than that, all family cars or cars that became the ex's. The rest have been trucks for utility and fun purposes. I've always loved working on cars and did when I was a kid with my Dad. I love speed too! And power! Love riding my Suzuki GSX-R750 Triple digits almost every day! So, I can now afford to get something I want! Moved in with my girlfriend who has basically the same pickup, so I figure - WHY NOT?? It's my time! Heck, I'll be 50 in March so this is my early birthday gift to myself and I CANNOT WAIT!! What better car too! It's hot, fairly affordable for what you're getting and, well, just plain fun!

I have owned many trans ams and camaros and i just love them. I was very upset when they were discontinued in 02. The reason im getting one now is it will be the first muscle car i bought new and therefore no one else has beaten on the car costing me money and lastly i think that this car will be the last muscle car with a v8 produced by an amercian manufacturer

Because I wanted one! I was actually thinking about a newer Vette but I still have a 11 yr old at home so the Vette wasn't very practical. At least with the Camaro I can have the performance and still take my family with me! Also it will look nice in the Garage with my 69!

because I have always loved muscle cars, always wanted one.
Was going to buy an oldie and restore buuuuut I find the new 2010 to be just as appealing in a different way than the oldies.... and much more cost efficient. I am not car suave enough to do my own work. It would have cost me tonssss. Additionally since it is 2009 and not 1969... I am not able to purchase any of my original dream cars fresh off a dealership lot. However I can purchase a 2010 camaro brand new, and it is infact worthy of being considered a dream car. My decision would be heavily influenced by the visible appeal of the car.. It looks HOT... and the history of Muscle cars... which have contributed to the respect this car is getting for being associated with past muscle. Also in part due to the inexplicable sensation/feeling I get everytime I see a Camaro... touch a Camaro.. or hear "Camaro"... I have never been so obsessed with a car before and so severely attatched. And mines not even here yet. I grew up on Dukes of Hazard, smokey and the bandit, knight rider, bullit, Mad Max the road warrior, and Hot wheels. Etc etc.... OF COURSE I'm gonna dig muscle cars... hehe The short version? I've got the fever. orrr I'm just plain nuts. |

Plus the powerful V8's make me smile again.... remembering a time when cars would really fly down the road, not just put-put. I can't wait, mine is on the train heading home to Texas!!
