Has anyone sold their 2ss to CarMax?

Just wondering what kind of money they paid if you sold your car to Carmax>

I've seen some on carmax's site: SS's, LT's, and LS's...and they're asking brand new prices for them or more! And they've all got 3k plus mileage.

I would think they were paying a few thousand below what they're asking?

Yea, I have seen quite a few actually at CarMax. I might take mine down to Buena Park Carmax tomorrow.
I'm having a LOVE/HATE thing for the car... too many small issues driving me crazy... I understand the whole 1st year build will have issues, but too many for me to be happy with my 36k purchase...

Sorry to hear that. I know it's a different car, but I just went down there with my Camry and blue book is $16.5k and they only offered $14.5k. The reason I was told is that when they buy a car they pay for it to be a certified pre-owned car. That costs them money because they have to have a detailed inspection by certified mechanics and also any reconditioning needed. I was told to expect between blue book and trade in and that is what I got offered.

Good luck!
