Best HiFlo Disposable Air Filter For Stock Air Box

Browsing through some of these air filter threads and tests it looks like I may be able to pickup 5-8hp with a clean better flowing filter. Are there any performance air filters that you just toss out instead of cleaning? If over oiling can cause issues with the MAF I would rather just have a dry air filter with good flow and filtering capability. If I'm going to suck dust into my motor I would rather just keep the stock air filter as 5 or 10 hp is really not all that noticeable anyway. It's more important to me to keep the intake free from dust. I see K&N, S&B and the Green seem to flow the best but use oil. AEM dry really doesn't flow very well compared to the earlier ones I mentioned according to Jacfab's high level analysis.

You are not going to see noticeable gains from a drop in filter, especially a dry one. However, an oiled filter will flow and filter dust better. The only thing you have to do to prevent issues with the MAF sensor is to make sure it is not excessively oiled before installing it. All you have to do is blot it with paper towels until you stop soaking up oil.

In that case which drop in filter would have the best combination of air flow and filtration characteristics?

We make both high flowing oiled drop in air filters, and reusable dry high flow air filters.
