Thanks for the test fit. I haven't seen it anywhere before. Any guesstimate on how thick a spacer you would need?

Glad to do it. Not sure how the whole spacer thing works, but a 1" spacer would appear to give proper clearance. This is just a guess based on my attempt to fit the wheel on the hub.

I would be careful about using spacers, you may open yourself up to other problems, like rubbing the fender wells, or having the tires stick out beyond the fenders throwing rocks and chipping your paint. Some places it is illegal to have tires outside the wheel wells.

Just use the hub centric spacers that have their own lugs/studs and you shouldn't have an issue. I'd use some layers of plywood or something to mock it up and see if 1" is right before buying them since they're pricey and also verify outer fender clearance.
