That will just get confusing . . . there is a pontiac G5, and the current chevy G5 is known as the cobalt . . . GAH!

No matter what...the Camaro will always be an F-body to me...So, even if there is no 'F' in the VIN...(which I sure hope there will be)...it'll still be an F-body to me!

Sure you can. If someone says they're having problems with the A-cars, you know they're talking about the Cobalt/G5...if you know how the system works.

They could just as easily reformat the model field in the VIN to use Fx for various Camaro models.

a while back Fbodfather said that for the Camaro he was gonna try to get them to use F for the 4th letter of the VIN, to connect it with the old F-bodies... it'll still be on the Zeta platform though
