Catastrophic outward cranial discharge can only delay the Camaro. :(

I can't wait for this thing. I just hope they have all of the available models ready for launch. An 8 month deployment to do nothing, but save for the Camaro (oh and protect freedom and democracy and all that) and I'll have a nice down payment. Just cant wait for more info! It's like crack! I'm surprised Camaro5 doesn't show up on my urinalysis for how much I abuse this site.

May I add, if I could get one now, I'll take a dented one.

OK. I have to admit I officailly have CAMARO fever!!! I was just kicking around the idea of purchasing a 98-02 SS as a filler car. Then I log on and see the New Camaro and I have found myself drooling!!

WHAT DO I DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think I could handle a video of this car right now!! Spring fever is killing me already..

i dont think he meant like the car is in bad shape, i think he just meant the back end looks odd. to me it almost looks a little too big, but i believe ther was once a song that stated "I LIKE BIG BUTS AND I CANNOT LIE!!" sry, i couldnt miss that opportunity . but that car is definately beat up, still beautiful tho

btw, "Catastrophic Outward Cranial Discharge" also known as COCD shouldnt really delay the Camaro too bad, BUT we really need scott around here, so plz, no more headlight stuff!!

That's the problem with 'spy' photos -- the cars are NOT completely production intent.

A note to the Fbodfather, ignore all headlight comments, we shall take care of them. Well, at least on this website we have your back.

We have our own fleet of virtual Suburbans.

so any speculation one the out put for each trim?

i'm starting to think that they're gonna do it like they did the G8 depending on the economy, fuel prices in the next year, and how well the G8 (fellow zeta platform car) is recieved....a 200something horsepower v-6, 360 horse z-28, and a 402 horsepower SS

if not that, and they really mean what they say about a 300+ horse v-6....then the same 3.6 they use in the cts, the LS2 (possibley a bit detuned?) in the z-28, and if the SS is lucky enough, a 430 or 425 horse LS3...but i could be wrong, like anyone else.

There's been quite a few discussions on this. The LS2 is not an option because it is discontinued. It'll go away completely when the Trailblazer SS ends production.

I shall save you before an onslaught of flames consumes you!!!! :P There will be no LS2...not even detuned...We don't know what the output is...and there is PLENTY of speculation...just look in different threads. We don't know which trim level will be which...'top dog' status is still a question of SS or Z28...heck, we don't even know for sure if there will be a Z28 (we all think there will, and we all hope there will...but we don't know for sure). I'm also going to say that it's probably safe to say that the top level V8...be it SS or Z28...or something else...will have north of 430 hp. In a recent trip to GM's Desert Proving Grounds...some of the members got a chance to interview some employees...and they said that the Mustang GT500 is their benchmark for the Camaro...and the GT500 has 500 hp...anyone else want to add anything?? It looks like you're new...and I don't know if you've been lurking...but take look around...there's a lot of REALLY good info...some fact...some just speculation...but yeah, take a look around

Also, some will say that you have SS and Z28 switched. the high estimate is 300, 430, 550. It is known that there will be a supercharged engine in the Camaro
