Weird device under the steering wheel

Hello guys .. i have a 2011 chevrolet camaro LS and i have a wierd device under the steering wheel and it has an led or a sensor and a click button i can't tell what it is ? Please help ..

Looks like an immobilizer device of sorts? Kinda like the ones you find at a low budget used car dealer that disables the car if you're past x days on payment.

It's funny because whenever I bought my car Nissan Altima 2010 it has stickers in every major part of the car with security seal if it was removed it would be engraved permanently but then again it was used. My camaro didn't have any security or anything

Thank you guys for the advice i asked the guy i bought it from and that stupid guy didn't even notice or even know that it was there (( really -__-)) so i will fallow the harness and figure out where it goes and what it does ... soo thanx again
