Yup, just imagining the sound of that unrestricted monster with open cutouts. You've got the high water mark in my book and the build quality is nothing short of the best. Badass, bro!!!

A lot has to do with, do you have enough fuel and also one of the most important parts your tune, have a bad one of these and even at 500 rwhp you can blow a motor

Congrats on the number, i'm guessing you have the belt gremlins whooped now, good luck on your next outing at the track

Thank you for your technical insight on tuning, but I was speaking to the physical limitations of the stock short block.

G-Force Motorsports has done a good job with the build. We are asking a lot of the Gen5 platform, but hey, you never know until you try.

Understood Moreair and you are right. Even with everything right you can still have a failure. Thanks for the encouragement on my next outing. Not sure when it will happen, but fairly soon I hope. As for the belt issues. Time will tell but I think we licked it.

Appreciate you Quicrnu! You always keep me smiling. In this case I am thinking the car is dialed in but the driver might need an adjustment or two.

eLeSthree, you are right . . . I am pushing the limits of the stock LS3 block. Yes the tune helps, and using E85 doesn't hurt either, but in the end I am somewhat rolling the dice. I intend to make a couple of passes with the restrictor in place so I will be throwing 925 ish HP at the track, but at some point the restrictor will come out for a couple of passes, cause I am thinking I will need that extra 120 hp to beat Quicrnu's time (LOL)

OK Ladies and Gents, I have driven the car twice now with the new RPM Level VII TR6060 tranny and I am impressed so far. The shifts are crisp, clean, and tight. Sort of hard to describe the difference in feeling from the stock TR6060. The gears feel like they "plant" upon every shift. The pattern is tight and solid feeling.

There is ~ 200 mi break in for the rings and pads to set but it is basically good to go. I'm not going to lie, it is an expensive transmission and I wouldn't recommend "just switching" arbitrarily, but I am currently and in the future gonna throw a lot of power at this tranny and it is built to take it so that is why I bit the bullet and made the upgrade.

I'm glad to hear that you can feel a definite improvement over stock. Mine left RSG this morning. The price is expensive, but there is a car at the shop with 1300rwhp+ that's been running one for 4-5 years without issues. Money well spent IMHO

My main point is tuning on how the power/torque hits can expand the physical limitations of the stock short block(well at least expand its life at crazy power levels)

Well said Moreair1. If I end up getting away with this power level for a time it will be because of tuning, E85, and the linear HP increase the F-1X brings in.

Truth is . . . currently everything is fixed on the car and it is ready to go . . . but I haven't been to the track. I am hoping that when it cools down a bit (in a couple of months) that my shop will pull together a rental. I prefer trying it out this way because I don't consider myself to be "good" at the 1/4 . . . maybe I would say "fair" is a better description. It is quickly approaching 2 yrs since my car ran a 10.5 (on the Maggie) and that was the last time I made it down the track in one piece.

I haven't given up on the idea

Thanks for asking.

This has zero to do with performance, but last weekend a guy known for his polishing skills came to Dickinson and worked on my car. He spent 8 hrs polishing and the results were amazing while only charging $250 which I thought was very reasonable. He polished my wheels, coil covers, supercharger and air tubes. I may try to get an under hood pic posted later today.
