APR Carbon Fiber Front Splitter Installed
Not a bad install. I didnt remove the fascia. Used large washers to support the rods behind the grill. Still not sure if I will leave them on or not. It was very secure without them. I drilled the holes in the splitter for them but a couple of rubber grommets wouldnt look bad to fill the holes if I decide to take them off.

I installed this on mine as well, I didn't however install the struts, but I haven't had any issues with it at high speeds yet lol. I have had it on now for about a year.

How do these mount? Factory screws or do you need to drill holes in the underside?

you still have to drill the holes in the splitter...a little pain but worth it

Factory screws for me plus I added several more to be sure. The generic instructions called for bolts (provided) but I felt it was very secure with the screws and washers I used. You will have to get creative to mount the rods. I used large washers with very small holes. Connected the end of the rod to the washer and worked it through the grill and it fit securely behind the grill slats. Then drilled the holes in the splitter and connected the rods there. Once you tighten it all up it is very secure. I painted the washers flat black and they are practically invisible. I saw various methods...mounting angle aluminum behind the grill, etc. But this seemed like the least painful approach without removing the fascia.

I raised the front end using Race Ramps. It was very easy to get to everything then. I used a couple of jack stands to hold the splitter in place. It is well made and fit perfectly. Drilled holes in each side and middle. Then it was a cinch to secure the other screws. I thought about using some kind of epoxy but decided not to. It tightened up very nicely.
