Have it all over mine. Pillars, quarters, mirrors. 2,200 miles and 0 chips. This stuff is "self healing" pour hot water on the chip and the material closes back up. Awesome stuff, but have a pro do it. Ive seen people do their own and kick themselves for wasting material and having it redone professionally

I did my own and it came out pretty good. If I was to do it again I'd have it professionally done.

#1 tip: have a pro do it and only if it is CAD cut. Bulk install is trimmed with a blade on your car. It will get sliced up.

Aw, c'mon guys; don't be a bunch of weenies. I did it myself, and it wasn't that hard. Make sure the front of the car is REALLY clean, and use a mixture of Johnson's baby shampoo and water to slide the plastic around, then when you have it where you want it, spray a mixture or rubbing alcohol and water under the plastic and squeegee the bubbles out. You can't stop in the middle of the task, you need good lighting, and just keep working it to get it to lay down around curved places like parking lights. Also, I put my car on a lift so it was about chest high when I installed it. It really wasn't that hard. There are hundreds of videos on the internet showing you how to do it. The price dealers/installers get is outrageous. And yes, mine turned out almost perfect. I did my '04 GTO and also the '13 1LE. You CAN do it.

I also installed my own clear bra. No one in town would touch it. It took the better part of a Sat and Sun, but my wife and I successfully installed it. It may not be a professional job, but it has lasted for 5 years so far.
I've had comments on the install from other vinyl people stating that it was a good install, as there were no air bubbles in the material. It does require ALOT of PATIENCE. Please see my install thread. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36742

Be patient, have an extra set of hands if possible, and remember to keep it wet and slick until you have it aligned where you want it. Good luck, if you have questions PM me, and I will try to help.
