2012-2014 Camaro ZL1 APR Carbon Fiber Front Splitter

2012-2014 Camaro ZL1 APR Carbon Fiber Performance Front Bumper Splitter

https://www.rpidesigns.com/shop/item.aspx?itemid=5355

When you need that extra downforce while you are at the track heading into that corner to make a pass, you want to be sure you have the best available parts bolted up to your Camaro ZL1 5th Ge the APR performance from wind splitter is constructed of carbon fiber comes they fully functional under tray and will result in optimal downforce. Sure this front splitter looks amazing when added to the ZL1 factory splitter, but APR Performance's main goal is to help you hug those corners.

When you are looking at adding carbon fiber parts to your ZL1 Camaro you do not want to get cheap ill-fitting products. APR is a leader in the aftermarket carbon fiber industry. They make some of the finest accessories on the market today. Adding a carbon fiber front splitter to your ZL1 Camaro will add the style you can see and performance you can feel.

To combat the effects of front end lift, APR Front Wind Splitters are utilized to give extra traction and control in the front of a car. By creating a high-pressure area on top of the wind splitter, high-pressure air flow is restricted to flow underneath a car. With low pressure below the car, the effect of lift is reduced and a driver can gain from the extra traction and control.

Features:

*Carbon Fiber Reinforcement
*All APR Front Wind Splitters are reinforced with sheets of carbon fiber.
*Fully Functional Undertray
*Our Front Wind Splitters are not just add on cosmetic pieces. Every APR Front Wind Splitter completely covers the entire area below a cars front bumper. This allows for smoother air flow below the front bumper, creating more efficient downforce.
*Support Rods Included
*Supporting every APR Front Wind Splitters are stainless steel Support Rods.

So I guess I don't understand.

The ad says...

*Our Front Wind Splitters are not just add on cosmetic pieces. Every APR Front Wind Splitter completely covers the entire area below a cars front bumper. ..."

If it covers the bottom, why does it look like it just sticks on the front? What is the middle picture missing?

Good catch! Doesn't look like it covers much to me either. Heck, even the pics on their website doesn't show anything! Just like any other front lip.

RPIDon,
I would really like to know in detail how this attaches to the front lip. You haven't addressed my question above. I really don't want that thing peeling off at 130mph and flying over the top of my car hitting the Mustang behind me.

Don’t expect an answer, RPI is terrible now. In case you didn’t know Southern Car Parts is also RPI.

These come with stainless steel support rods to keep them in place, it won't fly away at 130mph.

Thank You

That doesn’t explain how it attaches to the front lip or address the description in the ad they said it covered under the car. The rods are stabilizers, not the actual mount. I hope it’s not mounted at only two points.
Stop being vague. If the part is quality, you shouldn’t have issues addressing the forums concerns.
