2016+ shift knob in 2013 1LE
I am a fan of the newer shift knob with the red on the newer Camaro's. Does anyone know if I can buy one and fit it to my 2013 SS 1LE? I think I have a set screw on mine but does the new knob install the same? I know people don't like that knob or say to get a cue ball style but I like this one better honestly. My so called suede knob no longer has any suede on it. I bought the car used and it seems like the knob is just pure leather.

anyone please help? just found out today that my shift knob is basically falling apart. The part that used to be suede and feels like leather or rubber almost is peeling off the knob itself.

You do have the set screw but I think the adapters are different between the years. When I ordered my custom one, they contacted me to make sure I didn't have a 16.

Ok thanks for the replies. I might just give in and get either a ZL 1 suede knob w red stitching or a white cue ball style.

My suede shifter knob was like yours but I got some dawn and a damp microfiber cloth and gently cleaned it. Looks almost new now.
