Smile Camaro Superchips Tuner- Limited Edition-->$190 shipped

Selling my Limited Edition Camaro Superchips Tuner. I have reset my car to the stock tune, so the tuner will be free and clear and not VIN-locked. Going with major upgrades and a dyno-tune, so can't use it anymore.

It is # 205 out of 350 made!

$190 shipped anywhere in the lower 48.

thanks

how well did it work for you and how bad did it affect fuel mileage?

It does both manual and auto trannies. I'm not a mileage guy, so I never checked to see, but I seriously doubt it would effect it any..at least not negatively. I raised my shift RPM limits and got rid of that retarded skip-shift.
I had a CAI and aftermarket exhaust already, so my biggest reason for buying it was the skip-shift and the factory shift points were too low. I'm going to do some major mods now, so I will be getting a complete ECM re-write anyway and the warranty will be toast, so I no longer need it. The car felt a bit more responsive after applying this, but I'm looking for way more power than a tuner can provide at this point...and I don't care about the GM warranty.

Shift point

Ok, maybe I should clarify, since my car is a stick. I adjusted the RPM's at which the rev limiter kicks in,,,which is what I consider the shift points on a stick car. I would bump up against the damn rev limiter and thanks to GM's garbage electronics, it pretty much kills the whole car instead of gracefully cycling the injectors or spark down a bit. Somebody at GM really ought to buy an MSD box and put it in an old school car to see how it's done right. Pretty sure those numbskulls just kill the juice to the fuel pump (Period!) until the RPM's drop to a nominal # and then re-engage. Not a good solution.

Anyways, I bumped up the Rev Limiter engagement points.
However, the Tuner can do the shift points on auto cars. Here's the quote from their site:

* Wide open throttle shift point adjustment
* RPM limiter and speed limiter adjustment
* Real-time in cabin vehicle sensor display
* Monitor and record driving and vehicle performance with data logging
* Adjust transmission settings
* Adjust the electric cooling fans
* Shift firmness adjustment using the Torque Management Option
* Disable Active Fuel Management on automatic equipped cars

Thanks

Good question. Best to ask the Superchips guys on that one. I believe that once it offloads the factory tune to the tuner from one car, you can't plug it into another car until that stock tune is taken off ( either deleted, if that's even possible, or re-written to the initial car it came from). That's a question better answered by the manufacturer. I like the fact that you have 2 Camaros though. That's super-cool!!
