Aluminum Billet Race Pedals (another mod)

I received my pedals today. Had them installed with-in the next hour. I almost went with the new anodized colored ones (orange) but decided to go with the classic look instead of flashy.

AND yes I installed the gas pedal upside down. Read that on another thread. Since I have an automatic and will not be heel toeing, I wanted to get the extra pad away from the brake pedal. While testing the pedals on the way to work today (knowing the new ones were coming) I found that my foot could have a chance catching the extra pad area.

That may have been the thread I commented on noticing the gas pedal was upside down, but with your explanation it makes sense. I may do the same since I'll have an Auto6.

I have ordered the orange. I just happened to start a thread on that yesterday..... I had never seen them on here.

It was a GREAT idea. Another reason to read the Camaro5 forum daily. A wealth of knowledge, ideas, and help. Since the pedals are reversible (and you would want the extra pad when heel toeing), it works out good to flip them over, since the pad is not necessary for an automatic.

I got mine from what use to be billetanything.com. You get a camaro5 discount code for 10% off too. The coupon code is "camaro5". Easy job to install, less than 30 mins.

However, something happened to billetanything recently, not sure what, but their website now directs you to..........

Any installation advice? I just got mine for Christmas. How difficult was it to remove the rubber off of the pedals/footrest? Which screws did you use on which pedals?

The dead pedal and gas pedal rubber does not come off, or at least I couldn't remove them and didn't want to tear anything. Only the brake pedal rubber is removed, and it just peels right off.

Use the nuts and bolts for the brake pedal. Use the self tapping screws for the other two pedals.
