Questions about Cat Back & CAI

I am interested in doing a Cat Back and CAI on my 2010 SS LS3 6 speed, but will I have to have the car "re tuned"?

I am completely new to these modern muscle cars so please excuse my ignorance.

Also what kind of HP gains can I realistically expect and what recommendations for these parts do you have.

Thanks, Anthony

You would not have to have it tuned. I have the Cherrybomb Extreme axleback and Vararam Intake. Runs beautifully!!!

You will not need a tune for those modifications. However if you decide to order a set of long tube headers as well then I would recommend getting a tune. Good Luck!

You should not need a tune for a CAI or a catback. Now if you go with headers, that is another question. You will need a tune for headers.

As the others have said, you won't need a tune. A good air intake system will make 10-15 rwhp and a cat back might free up another 5-10. We have a couple of cat back and CAI packages to choose from. Feel free to hit me up if you have any questions.
