question on install: GMPP cat back exhaust

The GMPP cat back exhaust (part # 92206992) looks to simply slip on to the existing pipe and then be properly clamped (in addition to its other bracket mounts) for installation.
Does anyone know if the factory pipe already ends at that location? Does the factory tailpipe attach in the same manner? Or is the exhaust pipe solid all the way back from the cats, thereby requiring that the factory pipe be cut to remove the factory tailpipe and install the GMPP parts? I can't find a picture of that portion of a SS car that clearly shows it.
Also...does anyone know if the correct clamps are included in the GMPP kit?

I bring this up because Fbodfather's car was too quiet idling....but did sound ok when revved up. It would be nice to hear a little rumble at idle.

It is a bolt on/slip flange there will be no cutting required. I had a pic of the underside of an SS but I can't find it right now.

Thats all I needed to know, thanks much. That gives me the option of installing it myself, removing it if I don't like it, and reselling it as used.
