Actually, the G8 GT uses a 6.0L L76 V8 with AFM...which is basically nothing more than the 6.0L Vortec 6000 V8 in the GMT-900 trucks.

There was a rumor a while back that there would be a manual GT though...

they were all just guesses on my part. Now that I re-read it, it seems like I was giving definitive answers. It could be more aerodynamic, but the Camaro is only a little worse than average. I also don't know for sure about the gearing.

btw, by 'bad luck' I mean being on the wrong side of rounding. If the Camaro V6 had 28.51 mpg, I would assume they round up. Likewise, if the G8 had 25.49, they'd round down.

i was not sure if it was 6.0 or 6.2 the main thing is that it has AFM and because of it, you cannot get it with a manual .
