Factory mistake equal collector's item?

I took delivery of my beloved Camaro on Sept. 29. It is a wonderful car. In fact I don't believe how much I've been touched by owning and driving this vehicle. GM did a perfect job on this car, and the workers at Oshawa have been nothing short of amazing. Yesterday I took my car to some friends who happen to be master machinists, very exacting and critical, they were very impressed with the workmanship all the way around. My car was the first 5th gen. they've had the privilege to check out. Then I noticed that my Tach has blue rings instead of orange. This is a mistake, I know it's small but I wonder if this has been a common mistake and if it's worth having fixed. BTW, I don't dislike the blue ring. Really no biggy to me. Any thoughts? no pic, yet, but if it's insisted upon, i will post the blue ring tach on here.

Your car is supposed to have the blue rings. Only 2SS cars with American speedos and IOM interiors get the orange rings.

Orange rings are exclusive to American specs 2SS with IOM interiors.

Does this also mean that if I ordered IOM interior pkg on my 2LT RS that it will not have the orange rings?? If so I gotta check out the DIY mods for the orange ring led install
